Snorkel local reefs, then unwind or play at Islamorada’s shallow-water sandbar
3.5 - 4 Hours
Snorkel gear, drinks, paddleboards
Explore an Islamorada reef and spend time at a shallow-water sandbar on this snorkeling and boating outing. After snorkeling, relax on floating mats, take out a paddleboard, swim, or look for shells in the sand.
Once everyone is aboard, we’ll take a short, scenic ride to one of our many local reef locations—or, depending on conditions, out toward the iconic lighthouse. On windier days, we also have beautiful bayside snorkeling options that allow us to find more comfortable conditions while still enjoying a great day on the water.
Once we arrive at our snorkeling location, your mate will provide all the equipment you need, including your snorkel gear. You’ll receive a brief lesson on using the equipment, along with an orientation of the area, the best direction to snorkel, and what you might expect to see beneath the surface.
You’ll have approximately 1 to 1½ hours to snorkel, explore, and enjoy the underwater world. When everyone is back aboard, we’ll head over to Islamorada’s world-famous sandbar.
Once we anchor up, the fun begins! We’ll put out the floating mats and paddleboards and serve up ice-cold drinks—including beer, rhum punch, water, and lemonade for the kiddos.
At the sandbar, there’s no schedule and no wrong way to enjoy yourself. Throw a ball, swim, look for shells, dig your toes into the sand, relax with a drink, or simply soak up the Florida Keys sunshine. The choice is yours. After up to two hours at the sandbar, we’ll make the short ride back to the dock, hopefully with a boat full of happy guests, great memories, and a spectacular day in the Florida Keys!
Refunds are available with 48 hours' notice, minus a 5% merchant fee. Large boat private charters require one week's notice. No-shows are charged the full price. Receive a full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
