Captains Aaron and Mackenzie lead a crew that consistently earns high praise for being knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely attentive to guests. First mates Jake, Orion, and Logan also get plenty of shoutouts, so the positive experience seems to come from the whole team, not just one standout person. Snacks and drinks are generously stocked, and guests frequently mention the crew's willingness to snap photos and set up floats at the sandbar. The combo snorkeling and sandbar trip is a real crowd pleaser, giving you the best of both worlds in one outing. Wildlife sightings, including sea turtles, dolphins, sharks, and colorful reef fish, come up repeatedly, which speaks to the crew's knowledge of good spots. The sunset cruise is a more relaxed option and delivers beautiful views, though one guest did note the experience felt a little no-frills compared to expectations. That said, it reads more as a personal preference than a consistent complaint. Overall, this crew is easy to recommend for anyone wanting a fun, low-stress day on the water in Islamorada.
Had a great excursion with Morada Mermaid! We did the combo snorkel/sandbar and definitely would recommend it. Some of the best snorkeling I have ever done at Alligator Reef and the sandbar was beautiful.
