Coos Bay Oregon
Families and serious anglers alike rave about the captains here, particularly Captain John, who consistently gets mentioned for his knowledge, hard work, and ability to put people on fish. The fleet handles everything from crabbing and salmon to halibut and tuna trips, with guests regularly reporting full limits and memorable catches. Several reviewers specifically praise how accommodating the crew is with kids and elderly family members, making this a solid choice for multi-generational outings. The fish cleaning service at the dock gets high marks for expert filleting and proper packing. The operation runs multiple boats with different captains including Josh, Murray, Dylan, and Silas, and experiences seem consistently positive across the crew. Most trips follow a well-organized rhythm, and the boats are described as clean and properly equipped. One thing to note: the tuna "flex" trips may switch to other species if conditions aren't right, and you'll be charged either way, so read the fine print if you're set on a specific fish. A few scattered complaints about communication and deposit issues pop up, but the overwhelming majority of recent guests had excellent experiences and plan to return.
I booked the Rockfish/ling cod trip and added crabbing. Very happy with the trip! We got plenty to fill our freezer up.
