Itinerary

1. Start at your option's departure point: Adelaide Central Bus Station at 06:45; Aurora Ozone Hotel, Kingscote, at 10:15; Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge, American River, at 10:25; or Kangaroo Island Seafront Hotel, Penneshaw, at 10:15. The Adelaide option also offers departures from selected Adelaide hotels, Cape Jervis or selected Kangaroo Island accommodation, with times unspecified.
2. For the Aurora Ozone Hotel and Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge options, take a transfer to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery to join the tour coach from Penneshaw.
3. Watch the interactive Birds of Prey Display at Raptor Domain. For the Adelaide option, this is your first stop after arriving on Kangaroo Island by ferry.
4. Visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery for a 2-course lunch, an introductory talk about the distillery's history and a guided tour.
5. Join a guided tour at Clifford's Honey Farm. See a working beehive, try to spot the queen bee and learn about Kangaroo Island's varieties of pure Ligurian honey.
6. Stop at Pennington Bay on Kangaroo Island's south coast for a photo opportunity.
7. Discover the False Cape Wines cellar door, built from recycled wood, jetty timbers and limestone sourced on the property. The Aurora Ozone Hotel, Kingscote, option includes a structured wine tasting.
8. For the Adelaide and Kangaroo Island Seafront Hotel options, finish the touring portion at Penneshaw Hotel with time for dinner, which is not included in the listed price. The Seafront Hotel option ends at 18:15, followed by a short walk back to your accommodation.
9. For the Adelaide option, return to Penneshaw Ferry Terminal for your ferry and coach transfer, arriving in Adelaide at 22:30. For the Aurora Ozone Hotel and Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge options, meet the on-island shuttle at Penneshaw Ferry Terminal and return to your hotel at 20:00 in Kingscote or 19:30 in American River.
