- Wear a life jacket at all times while using rental equipment
- Single kayaks have a 275 lb manufacturer weight limit
- Tandem kayaks have a 450 lb manufacturer weight limit
- Requires the ability to follow instructions, wear a properly fitted life jacket, and enter and exit a kayak independently or with companion or adaptive-equipment assistance
- Requires at least one person in each kayak to paddle stably and return to the launching area
- Requires tolerating 80°F water and bright sunlight for 1.5 hours
- In a capsize, requires getting out from under the watercraft and remaining face up with life jacket aid
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation more than 24 hours before start, with a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are charged the full rental fee. Rescheduling is available at no extra fee, subject to availability. Inclement-weather rentals may be rescheduled or canceled with no penalty.
