Public tours are for ages 12+. You must be 21 with a valid ID to drink. Arrive 15 minutes early; vehicles are non-smoking and coolers up to 12×12 are permitted.
Are there age restrictions on bourbon tours?
To legally drink in Kentucky, you must be 21 and have a valid ID. Underage guests or guests without ID may not drink on the bus or at a distillery. Most distilleries allow underage guests to tour without tasting. For ticketed public bourbon tours, children must be 12 or older.
Do I have to drink on a bourbon tour?
No. Many guests choose to enjoy Bourbon Country without tasting. You will learn about bourbon history and craftsmanship either way.
What kind of vehicles do you use for tours?
Most public bourbon tours travel in one of our comfortable 22-passenger buses.
Can I bring alcohol on the tour bus?
Yes. On public tours, guests may bring a cooler (12×12 or smaller) with snacks and beverages. You must be 21 to consume alcohol. Ice and bottled water are provided.
Is it customary to tip the tour guide or driver?
Gratuity is always appreciated and at your discretion.
Where should I park for a tour that departs from the Omni Hotel?
All public tours depart from the Omni Hotel in downtown Louisville. Parking is recommended in the Omni Parking Garage or the Starks Garage across the street.
All reservations are paid at booking. Once confirmed, reservations cannot be refunded. Cancellations made less than 5 days before the tour and no-shows are non-refundable. Tickets are valid only for the date purchased.
