- Halibut fishing is closed on Thursdays from June 18 through September 10, 2026
- Expect separate fish processing and shipping charges through Cedars Lodge, averaging $3 per filleted pound for processing and about $9–$12 per pound after boxing and shipping
- Daily halibut limit: one fish up to 37 inches or one fish over 80 inches
Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations more than 30 days before the trip. Cancellations 10–30 days before lose 50% of the deposit; within 10 days lose the deposit. No-shows are charged in full. Full refund if the captain cancels due to unsafe weather.

FAQs
Ages 16+ need an Alaska fishing license purchased online before the charter. Bring a printed copy. Ages under 16 receive a license from the captain.
Bring warm layers, waterproof or water-resistant clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a camera.
From June 18 through September 10, 2026, halibut caught on Thursdays must be released. Fish for cod, rockfish, lingcod, and salmon instead when bottom fishing.
