Rob, Betsy, and their team of captains have built something genuinely special on the waters around Key West. The standout offering is the Outpost, a beautifully designed houseboat anchored in the backcountry where guests wake up surrounded by water, catch sunrises and sunsets, and encounter dolphins, manatees, stingrays, and sharks right from the deck. It comes stocked with kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, and a BBQ, making it a kind of floating basecamp for nature lovers. Beyond the overnight experience, their guided boat tours are just as well-reviewed. Captains like Mitch, George, Tony, and Jo consistently earn praise for tailoring trips to what guests actually want to see, whether that means fishing, snorkeling a shipwreck, exploring mangroves, or finding a secluded sandbar. The team's communication before and during trips comes up repeatedly as a strength, with Betsy keeping logistics smooth on the coordination side. With a near-perfect rating across a large volume of reviews, this is a provider that clearly delivers on its promises.
Such a unique experience. Waking up surrounded by water 360 degrees. Watching the sunrise and the sunset every morning. Listening to the birds (seagulls) and other birds and watching the minnows around the boat lounging in my pjs. So relaxing. It may not be for everyone, but it was for me. Glamping sounds somewhat right. Highly recommend. Shout out to Tom who was so accommodating and communicative. Thank you Rob for sharing it with us. Best birthday ever!
