Itinerary

Bubblemakers Class Itinerary

A safe, playful underwater adventure designed just for young explorers!

1. Welcome & Check-In (10 minutes)

Meet your PADI Pro and get settled at the pool.

Parent/guardian submits any remaining paperwork and stays poolside.

Kids receive a quick overview of what they’ll be doing today.

1. Gear Introduction & Fit Session (10–15 minutes)

Kids learn about the mask, fins, BCD, tank, and regulator in a fun, hands-on way.

The PADI Pro helps each child try on gear to ensure proper, comfy fit.

Safety briefing and “what to expect underwater” chat.

1. Shallow-Water Entry & First Breaths (10 minutes)

Kids enter water no deeper than 2 metres/6 ft.

Practice breathing through the regulator while kneeling or standing.

Learn simple hand signals, equalization, and how to stay calm underwater.

1. Underwater Skills & Play (20–30 minutes)

Practice essential Bubblemaker skills:

Breathing comfortably

Clearing the regulator

Underwater swimming

Fun underwater games and bubble-blowing challenges to build confidence.

Plenty of PADI Pro supervision and encouragement.

1. Underwater Exploration Time (10–15 minutes)

Swim around the shallow end of the pool like real divers.

Explore weighted toys, hula hoops, or safe underwater obstacles.

Kids experience buoyancy, movement, and the feeling of being a diver.

1. Wrap-Up & Celebration (10 minutes)

Slow ascent, exit the pool, and remove gear.

High-fives, photos, and a debrief with the PADI Pro.

Review what the child did well and celebrate their achievements.

Perfect moment for certificates, stickers, or a birthday shout-out!

Important details

• Ages 8–10 only; no prior scuba experience is required
• Bring a swimsuit
• A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site and poolside for the full session
• Only participating children and PADI Professionals may enter the water
• Requires basic comfort in the water and the ability to stay focused, listen, and follow instructions
• The PADI Professional may pause or stop the activity if behavior is unsafe or instructions cannot be followed
• Arrive at least 15 minutes early at Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor, Slip 65
• Harbor parking costs $1 per hour and is not included in the listed price
• The optional Bubblemaker Crew Pack costs $79.30 and is not included in the listed price
