Know before you go

• Arrive at least 30 minutes early for paperwork, life jacket fitting, safety overview, and launch preparation
• Bring a valid ID for check-in
• Complete a liability waiver for everyone in your group before arrival
• Rental contracts require an adult age 18+; parents or legal guardians must complete waivers for minors
• Ages 3–15 require an adult chaperone; ages 16+ may paddle without one if a parent or legal guardian completes their waiver
• Wear a properly fitted life jacket throughout your paddle; life jackets are provided
• Stay within equipment weight limits: 250 lbs for a single kayak, 474 lbs for a tandem kayak, 300 lbs for a single paddleboard, 485 lbs for a tandem paddleboard, and 350 lbs for the fishing kayak
• Expect a $20 per-vehicle Hidden Cove Park entrance fee at the gate, not included in the listed price
• Do not drag kayaks or paddleboards; charges apply for lost or damaged property and are not included in the listed price
• Expect possible launch delays or temporary suspensions for high winds, lightning, thunderstorms, or unsafe lake conditions
