Things to know
Private child lessons are for ages 3–12 or under 100 lbs; adult lessons are for ages 13+ or over 100 lbs. Group adult lessons are for good swimmers and athletes and are not for those needing lifejackets or extra attention. Round-trip transportation is not included in the lesson price.
Cancellation Policy
Full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation. 50% fee for same-day cancellation. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Late cancellations receive no refund.

You get surf gear including reef shoes, a surfboard, a leash, and a long-sleeved rashguard. Wetsuits are provided for children 12 and under, and lifejackets are available on request.
For a 1-hour lesson, plan for 15 minutes of land instruction and 45 minutes of surfing. For a 2-hour lesson, plan for 15 minutes of land instruction, 90 minutes of surfing time, and a 15-minute break if needed.
