Animal Tracks Sanctuary
Tucked into the high desert foothills north of Los Angeles, Animal Tracks invites you to step beyond the ordinary and come face to face with some of the world's most extraordinary creatures. The dry Santa Clarita Valley air carries the distant calls of exotic cats as you walk the grounds, and the unhurried pace of Animal Tracks gives every visit a sense of genuine discovery rather than a rushed zoo circuit.
Stacy and her team of passionate volunteers have built something genuinely special in Agua Dulce. This rescue sanctuary draws visitors from across the country and even internationally, and the consistent praise across reviews points to a place that delivers on its promises. The staff strikes a rare balance of being deeply knowledgeable while keeping things fun and approachable for all ages. The animal variety is remarkable, with kangaroos, servals, monkeys, porcupines, wolf-dogs, and more all making appearances during tours. Guests can get hands-on with some animals, while others are presented up close in an open-air setting that feels far more intimate than a traditional zoo. The VIP experience gets particular praise for deeper animal interaction and richer storytelling behind each rescue. Families with kids seem to have an especially great time, though plenty of adult visitors describe it as one of their favorite experiences period. The educational mission around exotic animal ownership runs throughout every tour without feeling heavy-handed. If you're within driving distance of the greater LA area, this is a genuinely worthwhile day trip.
Cutest experience of my life! Definitely worth every penny. (Animals are all rescued so your dollar is to help them survive) The host is amazing, she explains everything single detail animal that is part of the show, you get to pet some of them! My all time favorite was the road runner that was definitely the paid actor in the background lol just running around and enjoying life.
