Give your child a supportive introduction to surfing focused on safety, skill-building, and confidence in the ocean. Experienced instructors help students progress at their own pace in a low-pressure setting.

Itinerary
Typical Day:
- Check in at beach shed and apply sunscreen.
- Form circle for yoga/stretch, rash guards are handed out and beach talk with campers.
- Staff forms groups of 2-4 students with instructor based on age, experience, confidence and friends/family.
- Pop up/safety drills on the beach, Surf for 60-75 min. Total time will be 1 1/2 hours with yoga/stretch and set up.
- Return rash guards, check out and stay with staff until pick up on boardwalk. If parents are there, visual contact for check out is acceptable.

Important details
- Ages 6–17 only
- Wear the provided rash guard during surf hours
- Use a protective nose guard on any hard-top surfboard
- Remain supervised by staff or a parent/guardian for bathroom and lunch breaks
- Stay with staff until pickup after camp
- Expect camp to operate rain or shine; weather-related changes may occur when conditions are unsafe
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 4 weeks before your camp week begins for a full refund. Within 4 weeks, a refund may include a $100 cancellation fee if you cannot attend a makeup date. Cancellations with at least 2 weeks' notice receive a 50% refund. No refunds or makeups within 48 hours. Weather cancellations receive a designated makeup date only.

FAQs
Bring warm, dry clothes, extra sunscreen, extra water, a dry towel, sandals, a bathing suit and a rash guard. A phone is optional. Surfboards, wetsuits, leashes and extra rash guards are provided.
Mini Camp operates rain or shine. It may be delayed or canceled in severe weather or unsafe ocean conditions. If rough surf does not cancel camp, students may rotate one at a time closer to shore and take part in additional beach and ocean activities. A weather cancellation has a designated make-up date; missing that date means losing the camp day.
