Love the experience ! You can easily book this online. Definitely worth taking the family or a date - prices aren’t super steep either. They charged $90 for (2) double-person Kayaks for an hour. They outline pretty decent boundaries with buoys and give you basic tips to make the most out of your experience. Easy for first timers. However, due it being a recreational park the park charges you about $20 to park for the day. The good thing is that you can also access the beach before or after you kayak and make a whole day trip out of it, complete with a picnic. If you really want to out do yourself - the Twinslight lighthouse is across the bridge and you can climb the top of the tower.
