- Operators must remain sober and cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Boating safety education is required for operators; a brief safety course is available on arrival if you have not completed an approved course
- Keep the boat within Chincoteague Bay
- A $750 refundable security-deposit hold is required on a card before departure and released after the trip if no damage occurs; it is not included in the listed price
- Seasonal gas charges may apply and are not included in the listed price
