This heritage railroad operation runs on genuine enthusiasm, with restored vintage trains operated by dedicated staff who clearly love what they do. The variety of themed excursions gets high marks, from BYOB rides with charcuterie boards to seasonal events like the Santa trains and holiday experiences. Families particularly appreciate the festive atmosphere and the passion that shows through in both the restored equipment and customer service. The rides themselves are generally well-received, though the duration (about 40 minutes round trip) leaves some visitors wishing for a longer journey through the South Jersey countryside. Special touches like the continental brunch option and the ability to rent the caboose for private groups add nice flexibility. While most holiday experiences hit the mark beautifully, there have been occasional inconsistencies with seasonal entertainment quality. The overall vibe leans nostalgic and family-friendly, with repeat visitors making it a regular tradition across different seasons.
The Brew to Brew event was very good. We are planning to ride again for a fall event.
