Important details

• Ages 21+ qualify for the included insurance. Riders under 21 require their own comprehensive insurance and a motorcycle-endorsed driver's license.
• A valid motorcycle-endorsed driver's license is required. Bring it to check-in; failure to present it results in cancellation without a refund.
• Fuel and any fuel-return charge are not included in the listed price. Return the motorcycle with a full tank of 92-octane gasoline; otherwise, a $25 fuel charge applies.
• Using this motorcycle off-road or on the south-side route to or from Hana results in a service charge of at least $500, not included in the listed price.
• Damage-related charges are not included in the listed price. You're responsible for the first $5,000 of motorcycle damage regardless of fault, plus lost rental revenue during repairs or parts delays. Violating rental rules can make you responsible for all damage. Responsibility also includes vandalism and mechanical damage caused by negligent operation or failure to perform normal maintenance.
• Additional charges not included in the listed price are $50 for each lost key, flat tire, dead battery, missing registration card or missing insurance card; $125 for a missing license plate; and at least $100 for a lost or damaged helmet.
• Costs for lost or stolen tools and accessories, tire changes, roadside service, parking and traffic violations are your responsibility and are not included in the listed price. Collection of unpaid charges can also incur 1% monthly interest and recovery, court and legal costs.
• Keep the motorcycle on Maui and on paved roads. Do not take the south-side route to or from Hana.
• Only the renter may drive. Do not use the motorcycle for paid passenger or cargo transport, racing, reckless riding or towing. Do not ride under the influence of intoxicants or narcotics. Violating operating rules ends your right to use the motorcycle and invalidates insurance coverage.
• Do not carry surfboards, kayaks, canoes or gliders. Attaching equipment or other items requires written permission.
• Wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Complete the waiver before riding; you can sign it in person on arrival.
• Check engine oil at every refueling. Immediate reporting of mechanical failures, accidents, theft or impoundment is required. Make an immediate police report for damage and file a police report within 2 hours of any accident.
• Secure the motorcycle and remove the keys when it is not in use. Return the keys if the motorcycle is missing or stolen; otherwise, rental charges continue until recovery. Failure to file a required police report or cooperate can also result in continuing rental charges.
• The motorcycle may be substituted if maintenance is needed.
• Return the motorcycle by the agreed due-back time. Returns at least 30 minutes late incur a minimum charge of one hour, separate from the listed price. You may also be responsible for the full cost of the next reservation if your late return causes it to be lost. Motorcycles not returned on the due-back date are reported to police as missing vehicles.
