Avalon Mermaid Transformation

Slip into a mermaid look in an indoor studio and pose for a professional souvenir portrait. This dry experience requires no swimming.

• Customize your look with mermaid scale colors, pearl face gems, and accessories
• Pose in an underwater-themed grotto with photographer guidance
• Capture your own cell phone photos and videos while your print is prepared
• Discover a treasure chest prize for children ages 12 and under
• Explore available tail, top, and accessory options, which vary by size and availability

Itinerary

1. Check in at Catalina Island Mermaids & meet your photographer.
2. Pick out a mermaid tail in your size.
3. Pick out a shell bra or themed top to wear.
4. Leave your human legs behind to put on your mermaid tail & sit for your scale application.
5. Choose up to 3 colors for your mermaid scales and then apply stick on pearls and put on any final accessories.
6. Pose in 3 different mermaid poses, coached by your photographer, while they take photos.
7. Pick your favorite photo(s) to have printed and take home. (1 comes included, more can be printed for a rate of $10 each)
8. While photos print (~5 mins) you are welcome to take photos & videos on your cell phone (for kids this is when we pull out the treasure chest!)
9. Pick out your Mermaid Name before finally,
10. Change out of your mermaid tail & become a human again before saying our goodbyes.

Important details

• Arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled session
• Wear leggings or snug, tight-fitting pants under the mermaid tail
• Bring or wear socks; socks are required for fitting
• Agree to allow Catalina Island Mermaids to use photos, videos, and other media from your experience without additional compensation
