Important details
- Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled trip time
- Ages 16+ only; minors must be accompanied by an adult
- Minors without a parent or legal guardian need a signed permission slip before the tour
- Requires good stamina and is not suitable for mobility concerns or health limitations
- Wear high-top boots that tie securely; sandals and Crocs-style footwear are not allowed
- Dress warmly in long sleeves and rugged, loose-fitting pants; clothing may be permanently stained by cave clay
- Sign a waiver before the expedition
- Bring a complete change of clothes, shoes and shower toiletries; no restrooms are available inside the cavern
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 72 hours before departure for a full refund. Cancellations less than 72 hours before departure receive a 75% refund. No-shows are charged the full price. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
FAQs
Wear warm, long-sleeved, rugged, loose-fitting clothing and high-top boots that tie securely. Cave clay may permanently stain clothing. Bring a complete change of clothes and shoes, shower toiletries, and a plastic bag for muddy items.
No food is allowed in the cavern, and there are no restrooms inside. Eat a good breakfast, avoid excessive liquids and problem foods, and bring something to eat after the expedition if desired.
The expedition is primarily available in summer and fall. Winter and spring availability depends on water levels.
