This riverboat cruise offers a genuinely fun experience, especially for those trying the popular murder mystery dinner nights. The interactive shows get rave reviews, with actors who keep guests engaged without putting anyone on the spot. Staff members are generally attentive and accommodating, with several mentions of servers going above and beyond, including offering vegetarian options and making celebrations feel special. The top deck features live music and dancing, which adds a festive atmosphere to the evening. Food quality seems to be the most consistent issue. While many guests enjoyed their meals overall, quite a few noted that the chicken tends to be overcooked or dry. The shrimp, rice pilaf, and desserts get better marks. Portions and value spark mixed reactions, though most visitors seem willing to overlook this for the unique date night experience. Views of the working harbor at night create an interesting backdrop, with ships, barges, and industrial scenery that some find surprisingly cool. Winter cruises may miss the sunset, and parking can be tricky during convention center events, so plan accordingly.
We rented out a deck on the Perdido Queen for a corporate team event. We also selected to partake in the murder mystery show during our dinner cruise. Our team had a wonderful time aboard with many laughs and memories to take home! The staff were wonderful to work with from planning to execution. They were very friendly and helpful during our cruise as well. The show was fun to participate in as well! Would recommend this cruise for team events!
