Little Compton, Rhode Island
Dan is the kind of guide who seems to genuinely love what he does, and it shows. Reviewers consistently highlight his patience with beginners, his deep knowledge of Little Compton's history and hidden spots, and his ability to tailor rides to different fitness levels and experience. He meets groups where it's convenient, adjusts pace and distance on the fly, and even throws in lunch recommendations that people rave about. The e-bikes are a big part of what makes this work for such a wide range of people. Riders who might hesitate on a traditional bike find the electric assist takes the pressure off, making the beautiful coastal roads and scenic stops genuinely enjoyable rather than exhausting. The bikes are described as well-maintained, and Dan takes time to properly fit each rider before heading out. Beyond tours, Dan also sells e-bikes and has earned loyal repeat customers through that side of the business too. A few reviewers came back specifically to buy after enjoying a tour. Rain, wind, mixed skill levels, groups of nine, solo riders, locals bringing out-of-town guests, it all seems to work out well. If you're looking for a relaxed, scenic way to explore the area with someone who clearly knows it inside and out, this is a solid choice.
Bought a Velotric Fold plus today and just took it for its maiden voyage. Huge, huge fan. The seat and handle bars are so comfortable. Having a bit of boost when needed is great. I really appreciate the time Dan took to adjust the size for me.
