Important details

• Prior boat-operating experience is required, including handling shallow-water hazards, strong winds, changing currents and other boat traffic.
• Operators born on or after January 1, 1988 need a Florida Boating Safety Education Identification Card or a Florida Temporary Boating Certificate obtained by passing the boating safety test. The temporary certificate is valid for 90 days.
• Bring a valid photo ID at pickup. Without it, you cannot take the rental.
• Present the credit card used to book at pickup. Without it, you cannot take the rental.
• Fuel is not included in the listed price. You'll be charged after returning the boat for the amount you used.
• A $50 cleaning fee applies beyond the listed price if you leave excessive garbage, mud, bait residue or fish blood aboard.
• You are responsible for repair costs if you damage the rental boat, another boat or other property, and for towing assistance back to the dock. Charges can reach $1,000 per incident. The operator's insurance does not cover towing or damage caused by negligence or failure to disclose your boating experience.
• Keep the boat within a 15-mile radius of the dock. Overnight docking requires management approval.
• Follow all posted signs and channel markers.
• Before swimming, snorkeling or diving, anchor the boat and display a dive flag. Leave one person aboard to keep watch whenever anyone enters the water.
