Important details
- Minimum age: 8. Ages 8–9 are limited to a maximum diving depth of 2 meters.
- Requires sufficient strength and endurance to walk while carrying approximately 15 kilograms of equipment.
- Ages 12 and under require an accompanying parent or guardian. Minors require written parental consent.
- Ages 12 and under and ages 55 and over require the private option, except when participating as a family or group of at least three.
- A doctor's medical certificate is required for ages 66 and over.
- Participation is not permitted during pregnancy or with respiratory conditions such as asthma, pneumothorax, bronchial disease, or hyperventilation; ear, nose, or throat disorders; high blood pressure; heart or other circulatory disease; epilepsy; or diabetes.
- Medical screening may require a specialist's examination and signed clearance. Other medical-history findings may prevent participation.
- No scuba certification is required. If you are certified, bring your certification card or dive log.
- Park admission is not included in the listed price. You'll pay $25 per person in cash on the day; ages 12 and under enter free.
- Gratuity is not included in the listed price and is given directly to your instructor.
- Sign the required diving consent form on the day and bring any required medical certificate.
- Arrive wearing your swimsuit. Change into dry clothing before riding in the vehicle; riding in wet swimwear, even on a towel, is not permitted. Do not apply sunscreen to your body before arrival because you will wear a wetsuit.
- Do not drink alcohol during the 8 hours before diving.
- Allow at least 12 hours after one dive, or 18 hours after multiple dives, before flying, mountain climbing, hot-air ballooning, or skydiving.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees apply from confirmation. For 1–4 people: 5% until 8 days before; 100% within 7 days. For 5+: 5% until 15 days before; 50% 14–8 days before; 100% within 7 days. Missing your meeting time or going to the wrong location incurs a 100% fee. Full refund if the operator cancels for bad weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Yes. Prescription mask rental costs $10, and a new mouthpiece costs $5. Both require an advance request and are paid for in cash on the day, separately from the listed price.
On morning tours only, a second Hanauma Bay dive may be available depending on sea conditions and other tour reservations. An advance request is required. The extra dive costs $50 in cash on the day, is not included in the listed price, and adds about an hour to your return time.
