Lunch and the optional one-hour paddleboarding or double-kayaking activity are not included in the listed price. The water activity costs $20 per person at the stop. Bring cash or a card for lunch; cash is quicker and cheaper for the water activity.
The tour runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, starting at 7:30am. Expect to return between 3:30pm and 4:00pm.
In summer (May–October), expect more swimming and getting wet and sandy rather than watching surfing. In winter (November–April), larger waves mean you're more likely to stay dry at Waimea Bay and Pipeline and watch surfing instead. Activities vary with the season.
