The guides here—especially Steve, JC, and AJ—clearly know how to make people feel comfortable on the water, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills. Reviewers consistently mention how patient and encouraging the instructors are, with several first-timers successfully standing on surfboards or paddleboards thanks to solid teaching and a relaxed vibe. The personal touches really stand out: guides regularly take photos and share them afterward, which visitors appreciate. The Anahulu River tours are the main draw, with multiple activities available including paddleboarding, kayaking, surfing lessons, and outrigger canoe trips. Turtle sightings are practically guaranteed, and some lucky groups have spotted manta rays too. The operation feels well-organized with smooth rentals and well-maintained equipment. Families particularly love how adaptable the guides are—they'll pair up with kids in kayaks or take extra time with grandparents to ensure everyone has a great experience. It's clearly become a repeat favorite for visitors returning to Oahu.
What an amazing time we had on the North Shore with Steve and his group. Paddle boarding, kayaking and just enjoying the beach. If you’re looking for a good time or just want to relax reach out @sbshawaii
