This snorkeling tour hits all the right notes if you're hoping to get up close with sea turtles during your Oahu visit. The overwhelming consensus points to an exceptionally friendly and professional crew who genuinely care about making everyone comfortable in the water. Names like Mary, Ashley, Grace, Zoey, Sofia, Katie, and Captain Angelina come up repeatedly, with guests raving about how patient and helpful they are, especially with nervous swimmers or passengers feeling a bit seasick. The all-female crews get special shoutouts for their girl power vibes and infectious enthusiasm. People consistently mention seeing plenty of turtles and colorful fish, with some lucky groups even spotting monk seals and dolphins. What really sets this experience apart is how the crew adapts to different comfort levels and ages. Families seem to have particularly great experiences here, with one group ranging from age 3 to 68 all having a blast. If you're not confident in the water, multiple reviews emphasize how the guides make even hesitant swimmers feel safe and supported. Added perks include an onboard photographer capturing your underwater moments, a clean and well-maintained boat, complimentary snacks, and crew members who happily share insider tips about where to eat and explore around the island. It's clear this isn't just a cookie-cutter tour but rather an experience run by people who love what they do and want you to love it too.
Great Experience with the Snorkel 1 crew on 9/13/25. Captain Bane, photographer Nena, and deckhands Jordan and Makenna were engaging and very knowledgeable about the habits and world of turtles. They swam with us to keep us in a group and took us to good view areas of both turtles and fish. Boat was clean, seaworthy and not overcrowded. They supplied good snorkel equipment and safety gear. See pics from Nena attached. A fun trip, we recommend!
