Itinerary

1. Start with hotel pickup between 8:30 and 9:00 AM in winter (April–October), or between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM in summer (October–April).
2. Ride the Puffing Billy Railway from Belgrave to Lakeside on a 1-hour guided journey through the Dandenong Ranges’ forests and fern gullies. Admission tickets cost $52 per adult and $27 per child.
3. Explore Maru Koala and Animal Park on a 45-minute guided visit. Feed kangaroos, wallabies, and emus, and see koalas up close. General admission costs $34 per adult and $18 per child.
4. Explore The Nobbies on a 30-minute guided visit. Enjoy ocean views from the boardwalks and look for Australian fur seals on the rocks.
5. Watch for the world’s smallest penguins emerging from the sea and crossing Summerland Beach toward their burrows during a 1-hour guided Penguin Parade visit. Adult/child admission prices are $34/$17 for General, $90/$45 for Penguin Plus, and $100/$50 for Underground Viewing.
6. Return between 8:30 and 11:30 PM, with shuttle transport included.
