    • Ages 17 and under require adult supervision; children under 12 must ride with an adult in the same boat
    • Tandem kayaks have a 500 lb capacity
    • Wear your life jacket at all times on the water
    • Do not consume alcohol or other substances that impair judgment before or while on the water
    • Rentals do not launch in heavy wind, heavy rain, or lightning

    Cancellation Policy

    Receive a full refund when you cancel at least 72 hours before your rental. No refunds for cancellations less than 72 hours before or no-shows. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

    This is our second year going bioluminescent kayaking with Olympic Outdoor Center and this time we brought our teenagers who thanked us for the experience and could not stop talking about it in the car ride home at midnight. It is an absolutely magical experience if seeing plankton sparkle as you paddle and kayaking in the dark is your thing. While I would love to keep them a secret, I think everyone should take the time to do this with them if you can afford it (weekdays offer lower rates). They’re kind, informative guides and it’s just one of those unique summer experiences that has to be shared.
