How many people can the boats hold?

A: Capacity depends on the boat you choose. Most pontoons seat up to 12 passengers, and the Premium Plus Tritoon seats up to 17 passengers, with 12 to 15 being the ideal group size for that boat.

What is included with the rental?

A: Your CDA Pontoons rental includes launch and recovery service, cleaning, life jackets, safety gear, a first aid kit, and a custom lake map. Many boats also include features like GPS, a tow bar, a swim ladder, anchors, Bluetooth audio, and shade canopies.

Can we bring fishing gear or fish from the pontoon?

A: No. Fishing gear is not allowed on standard CDA Pontoons rentals. If you would like to fish, there is a dedicated fishing pontoon available by request that seats up to 8 guests.

Are there any age or deposit requirements to rent?

A: Yes. Renters must be at least 25 years old. A $500 credit card hold is collected as a security deposit, and it is waived if you purchase third-party 1-day boater insurance.

Renters must be at least 25 years old and complete online registration using a valid state-issued ID. Arrival is required 30 minutes prior to departure for orientation. A driver’s license or passport must be presented on the day of the rental, along with a valid credit card at check-in; a $1,000 hold will be placed as a security deposit. All rentals must return fully fueled. Pets, smoking, open flames, fishing gear, barbecues, and beaching the boat are not permitted; however, vaping and e-cigarettes are allowed.

For boat rentals: 100% refund up to 5 days before. 3–4 days prior: gift card for future rental. 1–2 days prior: no refund. For captain services: 100% refund up to 5 days; no refund within 5 days. No refunds for clouds, rain, or sun. Unsafe air quality, high winds, or lightning may allow a full refund or gift card. Service may be refused if intoxicated; no refund.
