Captain Chris stands out as a Florida native and U.S. Coast Guard certified captain who clearly loves what he does. Reviewers consistently praise his flexibility and personalized approach – rather than following a rigid itinerary, he tailors each trip to what guests want and adapts to conditions. His local knowledge shines through as he takes families to secluded islands perfect for shelling, swimming, and exploring, spots dolphins with remarkable consistency, and shares insights about the area that only a lifelong local would know. What makes these trips special is the genuine care Chris shows for every passenger. Multiple reviews mention his attentiveness to guests of all ages, from helping kids get comfortable to checking on older passengers during rougher water. He welcomes dogs, accommodates last-minute changes, and has even helped create memorable moments like proposals and memorial celebrations with thoughtfulness and grace. The Salt Therapy boat itself gets high marks for comfort and amenities. Families especially appreciate the intimate, private experience compared to crowded group tours, and the pricing comes across as excellent value for a personalized charter.
Instead of getting on a crowded boat with dozens of strangers, go out with a local captain who owns his own boat and focuses entirely on you and your family. Captain Chris is a Florida native and a U.S. Coast Guard–certified captain who knows the Clearwater waters inside and out. He’s friendly, communicates clearly, and genuinely wants you to have a great experience. Salt Therapy is a comfortable boat that’s perfect for a family, and Chris tailors each trip to the conditions and to what you want to do. A memorable experience from start to finish.
