Slow down and savor a private evening in Acadia
2 hrs
Up to 6 (minivan) or 14 (Ford Transit) people
Guide, transport, park entry
Enjoy a sunset experience reserved entirely for your party, with time to linger rather than rushing from stop to stop. Take in Cadillac Mountain at an easy pace while the evening light softens across the coast.
Pickup in Bar Harbor Meet your private local guide at your Bar Harbor hotel or designated pickup location. Settle into your private vehicle and leave the bustle of town behind as you make your way toward Acadia National Park.
Scenic Drive into Acadia As you climb Cadillac Summit Road, the views open across Frenchman Bay, the Porcupine Islands and Mount Desert Island.
Cadillac Mountain Summit Arrive at the summit with plenty of time to settle in before sunset. Cadillac Mountain rises 1,530 feet above the coast and offers spectacular panoramic views across Acadia and the surrounding islands.
Sunset, Charcuterie & Bubbles We'll provide chairs and cozy blankets while you enjoy a beautifully prepared charcuterie box and chilled non-alcoholic sparkling bubbles. Relax, take photos and watch the changing colors as the sun slips toward the western mountains.
Return to Bar Harbor After sunset, descend Cadillac Mountain as twilight settles over Acadia, then enjoy a comfortable ride back to Bar Harbor.

Yes. Wheelchairs and strollers can fit in the back of the vehicle.
Bottled water is available in the vehicle. Other drinks and smoking are not allowed inside.
Wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes and dress in layers. Bring a jacket—the mountain is often colder.
Standing atop Cadillac Mountain, the wind carries the salt of the Atlantic and the scent of spruce from the valleys below. The pink granite beneath your feet glows in the early light, and the islands of Penobscot Bay stretch out in every direction. Cadillac Mountain rises as the highest point on the eastern seaboard, and its open summit feels both wild and approachable, inviting you to linger long after the first colors of dawn have faded into a clear Maine morning.
Loved our 4 hr Acadia Tour with Katherine!!! We experienced a truly wonderful overview of the Acadia and surrounding areas! Our tour vehicle was a minivan which was great for our party of 4. Especially easy for my husband who wears a leg brace to get in & out of. Katherine also gave us recommendations of things to do in the area which we continued to use after our tour with her was over!!!!
