We help families Create Memories in the Sand. Learn professional sand sculpting tips and techniques. The lesson is 2 hours and begins with a demonstration; showing tools and their usage, and you will learn exactly how much water to add to the sand to create a perfect mixture. Your family will be mentored through the process of pounding up sandcastle towers and creating a unique masterpiece - together. Your family will gain “SandCastle Success” with a sand castle standing approximately 3 1/2 feet tall, ready for photographs. Important details
- Active participation by an adult age 18+ is required, with at least one participating adult per 5 children.
- Cash gratuities for your coaches are not included in the listed price; typical tips are 15–25%.
- Stay actively engaged throughout the lesson. Put aside food, drinks, and phones except when taking photos or videos.
- Only participants included in your booking may work on the sandcastle or take part in the instruction.
- Lessons cannot take place at Sanctuary by the Sea or The Preserve at Grayton; a nearby public beach access is required instead.
- Watersound Beach Club's beach is not available for lessons. Other Watersound beaches can be serviced.
- For Topsail Hill State Park, meet at Dune Allen/Fort Panic Regional Beach Access instead.
- Attend as scheduled if the weather is questionable; your coach determines whether conditions allow the lesson to proceed. Double red beach safety flags prevent lessons unless an alternate location with another water source is used.
- Arrive on time. Lessons will not begin more than 30 minutes after the scheduled start.
This booking is for the whole experience, which fits up to 10 guests.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel in writing at least 48 hours before your lesson for a refund; no refunds with less notice. Changes within 48 hours incur a $150 fee. Light rain does not cancel lessons. If your coach cancels for weather, rescheduling will be attempted or you'll receive a 100% refund. The lesson is considered complete once the demonstration ends.

Yes. Your coach will text you between 9 and 9:30 AM on the day of your lesson.
Bring towels, sunscreen, a swimsuit, a hat, sunglasses and drinks. Dress for getting wet during your sandcastle lesson. Hats and sunglasses are especially important because the sand is very reflective.
