Important details

• Ages 10–65 only; good health is required. No diving license is needed.
• Children ages 12 and under require an accompanying parent or guardian.
• Requires walking while carrying approximately 15 kg of diving equipment.
• Ages 61–65 require a doctor's medical certificate. Bring the certificate on the day.
• Participation is not permitted during pregnancy or with diabetes, respiratory conditions such as asthma, pneumothorax, bronchial disease or hyperventilation, ear, nose or throat conditions, high blood pressure, heart disease, epilepsy, or other circulatory conditions.
• Other medical conditions identified by the scuba medical questionnaire may prevent participation or require a specialist's assessment and signature.
• A new mouthpiece costs $5, payable in cash on the day and not included in the listed price.
• Gratuity is not included in the listed price. Any tip is given directly to your instructor in cash.
• Sign the diving consent form on the day. Minors also require parental consent.
• Arrive wearing your swimsuit. Do not apply sunscreen to your body before wearing the wetsuit. Change into dry clothes before boarding the return vehicle; riding in wet swimwear or sitting on a towel is not permitted.
• Do not drink alcohol during the 8 hours before diving. Allow at least 18 hours after diving before flying, and avoid high-altitude excursions after diving.
