Shelling tours out of Marco Island don't get much better than this. Captains Jason, Ryan, Tyler, and Colt consistently earn rave reviews for their deep knowledge of the Ten Thousand Islands, knowing exactly which remote, uninhabited beaches to visit based on tides and conditions. Reviewers repeatedly mention going home with bags full of horse conchs, whelks, tulips, and more shells than they expected to find. What stands out beyond the shelling itself is how genuinely invested the guides are. Jason has rescheduled tours to better align with tide times, Ryan kept an eye on guests in rough weather to make sure everyone still found shells, and Tyler has had repeat customers booking him year after year. Dolphin sightings on the return trip seem to be a regular bonus that catches people off guard in the best way. With a near-perfect rating across a large number of reviews, there really aren't consistent complaints to flag here. The four-hour trip length gets called out specifically as the sweet spot, and first-timers and experienced sheliers alike seem to leave satisfied. If you're on the fence, the reviews make a pretty convincing case to just go ahead and book it.
Great experience. We want on 3 different trips and they were all amazing. We found some great shells.
