    • Watch for wildlife, which is commonly seen on the property
    • Adjust the hike to your group's pace and interests

    Itinerary

    1. Stop in at the main cabin to use the restroom and meet your guide.

    Important details

    • Arrive 5 minutes before your trip starts

    • Use your own transportation to and from the ranch; Uber and Lyft are not reliable for return rides from this remote area

    • Plan for the activity to operate rain or shine unless extreme or dangerous weather is forecasted

    Cancellation Policy

Small private groups receive a full refund with 7 days' notice. Large, corporate, and custom groups receive a 50% refund with 7 days' notice. No refunds within 7 days, for late arrivals, or no-shows. Schedule changes are allowed up to 48 hours before, subject to availability. FAQs

For groups of 6 or fewer, the hike moves at the pace of the slowest person in your group. Groups of 7 or more can split into faster and slower groups with additional guides.

Bring your own hiking backpack carrier if a small child cannot keep up with the group. Your group will stay with a guide for the full hike.

With a near-perfect rating across hundreds of reviews, this outfitter has clearly built a loyal following around the Weber River area. Guides like Trixie, Devin, Dawna, and Sofie come up repeatedly by name, which says a lot about the quality and consistency of the team. Reviewers highlight their knowledge of local history, wildlife, and flora, and several mention being spotted bald eagles and learning about everything from old mining towns to rock formations along the way. Beyond the guided experiences, the operation runs smoothly from start to finish. Reservations are easy, equipment rentals are hassle-free, and the staff is responsive when questions come up. A few reviewers noted that water levels can affect how exciting the rapids are, which is worth keeping in mind when planning, though most still had a great time regardless. The trips seem genuinely accessible for a wide range of ages and skill levels, including first-timers.
