Shore diving in Maui doesn't get much better than this. Guides like Gustavo (Gu), Michael, and Ashley consistently earn praise for their deep site knowledge, calm teaching style, and ability to manage groups with mixed experience levels. Small group sizes keep things personal, and the wildlife encounters speak for themselves: turtle cleaning stations, eagle rays, reef sharks, humpback whale songs echoing underwater, and plenty of reef critters for the detail-oriented diver. One review described a dive that ended with a fire and rescue response due to difficult conditions, which is worth noting. That said, the overwhelming pattern across recent reviews points to guides who prioritize safety briefings, reef etiquette, and adapting plans when conditions change. Returning divers, some loyal for over a decade, keep coming back whenever they visit Maui, which says a lot about the consistency here.

Easy to work with and schedule. We did a family dive (2 adults, 2 kids) with the Discover Scuba class for our non-certified kids. Was a great way to introduce them to SCUBA. Michael S. was amazing, patient, and a great teacher for them. Shore dive from Airport Beach, saw some turtles, reef sharks, and plenty of fish and coral! Great way to do a low commitment SCUBA, timing was only about 2 hours! Highly recommend Michael!
