Sled ride, kennel tour
Explore the quiet Alaskan winter after dark on a private outing centered on a working sled dog team. Combine time on the trail with a personal kennel experience and the chance to watch for the Northern Lights when conditions allow.
Begin your adventure with a moonlight sled ride behind our team of hardworking Alaska huskies. Feel the energy of the dogs as they pull you through the quiet winter landscape under the Alaskan night sky.
After your ride, return to the kennel for an up-close experience with the dogs. Meet our Alaska huskies, learn about their personalities, and discover what goes into caring for, training, and preparing a sled dog team. You’ll have time to interact with the dogs, ask questions, and take photos.
Then settle in and enjoy the Alaskan night sky with time dedicated to aurora viewing. When conditions are right, watch for the Northern Lights as they appear overhead—a perfect way to end an evening with the dogs.
This booking is for the whole experience, which fits up to 4 guests.

Wear an insulated parka, warm base and mid-layers, insulated snow pants, and winter boots with good traction. Choose wool or synthetic socks and moisture-wicking layers rather than cotton. Bring insulated mittens or gloves, a hat that covers your ears, and a neck gaiter, scarf, or face covering.
Bring a water bottle and a fully charged camera or phone for your sled ride and kennel visit. Cold can reduce battery life, so keep spare batteries or a portable battery pack protected from extreme cold. A headlamp or flashlight can be useful for evening activities.
