Ketchikan Cruise Ship Docks - Conveniently Located
This outfit consistently delivers impressive catches, with captains like Grayson, Tony, Luke, and Jake earning repeated praise for their fishing expertise and ability to locate productive spots. Reviewers regularly report limiting out on halibut and hauling in impressive hauls of salmon, cod, and rockfish—often outperforming other boats at the processing dock. The captains work hard to put clients on fish even in challenging conditions, and they handle all the logistics seamlessly, from meeting cruise passengers directly at the dock to arranging fish processing and shipping. What really stands out is how welcoming the captains are to first-timers and experienced anglers alike. They're patient with beginners, genuinely knowledgeable about the local waters, and flexible about comfort levels with rougher seas. Bonus wildlife sightings—whales surfacing near the boat—add to the authentic Alaskan experience. The booking process is straightforward, with responsive communication and helpful guidance on licensing and what to bring. Multiple guests mention this as a trip highlight, with several already planning return visits.
