Fame of Salem
With a perfect track record across hundreds of reviews, this sailing experience consistently delivers memorable outings on the water. The crew stands out for being genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to guests throughout the journey. Captain Mike and his team share fascinating stories about the boat and Salem's maritime history while keeping everyone comfortable with blankets, hot drinks, and affordable beverages onboard. Guests love the interactive elements like helping raise the sails, steering the boat, and firing the small cannon. Multiple reviewers mention this being a highlight of their Salem visit, even when they came primarily for other attractions. The sunset cruises earn particular praise for their beautiful views and relaxed atmosphere. It can get chilly on the water, so bring layers, though the crew provides blankets. Several satisfied sailors have returned multiple times and brought visiting friends and family, which speaks volumes about the quality of the experience.
I had such a great time on the boat. The crew was awesome, super friendly, and full of fun facts about the local history. It was really cool getting to sail on something that felt straight out of another time.
