Guides Ed and Juan are the real stars of this operation, and their names come up again and again for good reason. Both bring deep local knowledge, genuine warmth, and a knack for reading the group and adjusting on the fly. Reviewers frequently highlight how personalized the experience feels, with itineraries shaped around the group's preferences rather than a rigid script. The Verde Valley wine scene itself tends to surprise visitors who didn't know Arizona had a serious wine culture worth exploring. The tours visit smaller, charming wineries that most travelers wouldn't find independently, and the overall pacing feels relaxed and social rather than rushed. Solo travelers, couples, and groups all seem to leave feeling well looked after. One reviewer did note that a larger group setting fell short of expectations, with less individual attention and wine education than hoped for, so if that deeper learning experience matters to you, a smaller or private tour may be the better fit.
The wine tour was freaking amazing! We did the Alcantra one for my boyfriend's 21st and out guide Jim was amazing. He helped us understand the different wines and how to enjoy them better and why wine people do what they do! 😂 It's a great spot to visit especially as a first visit to Sedona I definitely want to do again. They also have a bunch of other things to do there as well that I'm sure ill try someday 😊
