Private Vineyard Trail Ride in Sonoma

There are literally not enough stars to give Sonoma Valley Trail Rides. This was one of the most incredible experiences, and I could not have asked for a better way to celebrate my 35th birthday. You can tell immediately how incredibly loved and well cared for these horses are. They are beautifully groomed, healthy, and clearly enjoy being around Travis, Tish, and Michelle. My wife and I rode through the vineyard on Benny and Sky, and from the very beginning, everyone made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. I hadn’t been on a horse since I was about 7 years old, so I was definitely nervous at first. Michelle was incredible getting me set up on Benny, showing me how to work with him, and making sure I felt comfortable before we even started the ride. By the time we got going, I felt completely at ease. Travis and Tish rode with us and chatted with us the entire way. They taught us all about the property, its sustainability, and, of course, the horses. I was a little uncomfortable with my positioning on Benny at first, and Tish talked me through how to adjust my feet, legs, and body for Western riding. It made such a difference, and I was completely comfortable for the rest of the ride. The vineyard itself is absolutely beautiful, and seeing it from horseback gives you an entirely different perspective. Being just a little higher up made the views even more incredible. The group was small, which made the whole experience feel personal, and they checked in with us throughout the entire ride. They also took SO many incredible photos and videos of us along the way—something I feel like other companies would charge hundreds of dollars extra for—and it made the experience even more special because we have all of those memories to keep. I genuinely cannot articulate how amazing this experience was. It was the highlight of my birthday and something I will remember forever.
