Private Tubing Trip on Madison River

Gather your group for a relaxed, self-guided float on the Madison River. Spend time together on the water with options to customize your outing.

• Explore the river at your own pace on an unguided float
• Celebrate family reunions, wedding parties, company trips, and large gatherings
• Customize your float with rental coolers, cooler floats, paddle boards, and waterproof Bluetooth speakers
• Bring water, snacks, drinks, sunscreen, a towel, sunglasses, and a sun hat

Itinerary

Prior to Trip

• Make a reservation directly with the office
• Read your confirmation email to be prepared for your trip
• Call our office to ask any questions, change, update or cancel your reservation
• Payment will be ran on the card on file 24 hours before the trip - if this needs updated/split, please call the office
• Fill out the online waivers linked in your confirmation email (every participant needs to sign one)

For the Trip

• Show up at the agreed upon pickup area with all your supplies 15 minutes prior to your trip time
• Leave all non-necessary personal items in your vehicle
• We drive you out to the river, give you an orientation and safety briefing, get your equipment sorted and get you on the water!
• Float the river
• Meet us at the takeout, we load up and head back to Bozeman!

Allow about 4-5 hours from pulling into our tube shop to pulling out heading on your way.

Important details

• Arrive 15–30 minutes before departure
• Sign a release, waiver, and assumption of risk agreement before participating
• If you are over 12, a Montana Conservation License is required to use boat launches unless you hold a valid Montana hunting or fishing license
• Groups with children under 14 require at least one adult age 18 or older
• Basic mobility, reasonably good physical condition, and ability to follow directions are required
• Pregnant travelers cannot participate
• Wear shoes that stay securely on your feet; flip-flops are not allowed
