Important details
- Ages 6+ only
- Children ages 6–10 may look through goggles only while a parent or guardian holds them
- Bring a photo ID if you're over 18. A valid driver's license is required to sign out equipment before the tour.
- Requires good health, with no physical or mental condition that makes you especially susceptible to injury during the tour
- Missing-equipment charges are not included in the listed price: $100 per missing star pointer and $15,500 per missing set of goggles. These charges apply to the responsible traveler's credit card.
- Bring your own vehicle or a rental car to follow the guide to the viewing location. Arrival by taxi or rideshare is not accepted.
- Wear closed-toe shoes
- Cell phones and personal equipment are not permitted on the tour. Audio and video recording are prohibited.
- Do not smoke, vape, or use cannabis, other drugs, or alcohol during the tour
- Return all borrowed equipment to the guide before leaving the viewing location
- Arrive 30 minutes before the stated tour time to check in. Late check-in is not accepted.
Cancellation Policy
No refunds for cancellations, late check-in or no-shows. One reschedule is offered with 20 days' notice, subject to availability and weather. Tours require at least 30% clear skies and no rain. Weather cancellation before check-in: 75% refund. Weather interruption after starting: possible refund up to 50%, depending on how much is completed. Rescheduling is offered first when possible.
