At Busy B Ranch Wildlife Park, LLC in Jefferson, Texas, the distance between you and the animal kingdom shrinks to almost nothing. Giraffes lower their long necks toward your outstretched hand, and curious deer press their noses against the fence rail. The air carries the warm scent of hay and open pasture, and the sounds of the East Texas piney woods form a quiet backdrop to every encounter. Busy B Ranch Wildlife Park, LLC gives families and curious visitors a genuine connection with exotic and native animals in a relaxed, rural setting.
This wildlife park delivers a genuinely memorable experience with impressive variety and animal care that visitors consistently praise. The drive-through safari lets you feed animals right from your vehicle, and guests love how healthy and well-maintained everything appears. Beyond the safari, there's a fantastic petting zoo area with additional animal encounters available, including sloths, kangaroos, and turtles that come highly recommended. The facility is spotless, prices are reasonable, and families especially appreciate how engaging it is for all ages. The staff and owners stand out for their warmth and dedication. Multiple visitors mention how accommodating and professional they are, with one guest describing how the owner personally helped switch tickets for a special event. That personal touch seems to be part of the experience here. One important note: the drive-through safari involves some bold animals, particularly zebras and ostriches, that actively approach cars expecting food. Most visitors find this thrilling, but if you prefer a calmer experience or feel uncertain about assertive wildlife, stick to the excellent petting zoo areas where you'll still have plenty of animal interaction without the intensity.
