Tour Yellowstone National Park with a guide, then kayak Yellowstone Lake near West Thumb Geyser Basin. After about a 3-hour paddle, enjoy a picnic-style lunch and continue to stops like Old Faithful or other geyser basins.
Park entrance fee and guide gratuity are not included. Single kayaks are for ages 13+, and ages 5–12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult. Car seats are not provided; bring proper safety seats for children under age 5.

Plan to get a little wet. Dress in layers with synthetic, quick-drying clothing (shorts or wind pants) and shoes you don’t mind getting wet. Bring a rain or wind jacket, extra layers, and a change of warm, dry clothes for after kayaking. Recommended items include sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a camera.
