Float Weber Canyon on a guided half-day rafting trip
2 - 2.5 hours
Guide, raft, river shuttle
Raft from Taggart to Morgan City on a beginner-friendly stretch of the Weber River with two Class II rapids and calmer Class I water between. You’ll get a guide, a safety talk, and the gear you need for about 2–2.5 hours on the water.
There is a 2-adult minimum per raft, and groups under 6 may be combined with other guests unless you choose a private raft priced as 6 adults. Guide gratuity is not included; 15%–25% is customary.
Small private groups: full refund with 7 days' notice. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. Schedule changes allowed up to 48 hours before, if available. Large groups: 50% refundable up to 7 days.
Arrive 30 minutes before your trip start time.
Wear lightweight, quick-drying clothes (long sleeves and long pants or capris are recommended). Wear a hat and sunglasses with retainers, and water sandals (closed-toe recommended) or old athletic shoes—your feet will get wet and dirty. Bring a full water bottle, a non-melting snack if you want, and any necessary medications (and tell your guide). Bring a rain jacket on rainy days and a fleece or jacket on cool days. Leave most items in your car since anything on the raft can get wet, lost, or broken.
No. Wear water sandals (closed-toe recommended) or old athletic shoes instead.
Meet at 103 N. Commercial Street in Morgan at 12:30.
Destination Sports consistently earns praise for its exceptional guides who clearly love what they do. Reviewers mention guides by name again and again—Rachel, Lars, Trixie, Dawna, Oz, and Donna all get shout-outs for being knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled at making trips memorable. The crew seems genuinely passionate about sharing outdoor experiences, from river rafting to snowshoeing, and that enthusiasm translates into fun, safe adventures. The rafting trips deserve a quick reality check: this is mellow, scenic floating rather than intense whitewater rapids. One reviewer described it as "a lazy river with a couple bumps," which sets appropriate expectations. That said, families and first-timers absolutely love it, and the beautiful scenery along the Weber River combined with engaging guides makes it a hit. Equipment rentals get solid marks too, with easy pickup and drop-off logistics. The overall vibe is welcoming and accommodating, perfect for travelers wanting a relaxed outdoor experience in the Park City area without major adrenaline or technical difficulty.
Great people, and fun trip! Rachel was a great guide. We had a ton of fun in her boat. If you’re looking for “white water” rafting this isn’t it, but it was still a really fun time. It’s more of a a lazy river with a couple bumps but she made it a great time!
