Most visitors rave about the smooth rental process and genuinely friendly staff that make booking and check-in remarkably easy. The fleet includes boats, jet skis, and even dinghies for river trips, with equipment consistently described as clean and well-maintained. Families particularly appreciate the captained charter options, with Captain Alex, Captain Chuck, and Captain Marty earning specific shoutouts for being professional, entertaining, and great with groups celebrating special occasions like bachelorette parties and weddings. The overwhelming majority had fantastic experiences on Lake Michigan, with many families making this an annual tradition. A few boats show their age with minor wear, though reviewers note it didn't impact their enjoyment. One reviewer had a strongly negative experience with customer service that stands out sharply against the otherwise positive feedback, suggesting most visitors will likely encounter the helpful, accommodating staff that characterizes the typical experience here. The combination of quality equipment, capable captains, and straightforward booking makes this a solid choice for water recreation.
We booked a one hour pontoon boat tour on the Galien River. The online booking process was easy. Everything was ready as soon as we arrived. Our Captain Alex was very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw eagles, turtles, ducks, geese, and swan. It was a great boat tour. I would return to book again.
