Important details

- Complete a waiver before launching

- Children ages 7+ may paddle on their own equipment
- Paddlers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult on the water
- Tandem kayak weight limits apply: 425 lbs for 1- or 2-hour rentals and 475 lbs for 3-hour rentals
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 24 hours before your reservation to avoid being charged the full rental rate. Rentals may be canceled for unsafe weather or wind conditions. Receive a full refund if the operator cancels due to weather.
FAQs
Check in at the Salem kiosk inside Salem Willows Park (167 Fort Ave, Salem). From the parking area, walk past the arcade (keep it on your right) toward the long wooden pier at the end of the park; the kiosk is on the left just before the pier.
Please plan to arrive at the kiosk 5–10 minutes ahead of time so staff can get you on the water as quickly as possible.
Wear anything you’re comfortable potentially getting wet (many people wear a swimsuit, board shorts, or activewear). Most people go barefoot on the kayak, but flip-flops or water shoes are recommended for walking to the water over rocks or shells; you can stash shoes under the deck bungees.
