Guided 6-Hour Fishing Charter in San Diego

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY $$. I bought a fishing trip for my dad and I but COVID happened so they cancelled my trip a week before we were booked to go. The owner of this company called me frantically saying that he was going to lose his business so he asked me to mark it as "used" and he promised to take me on an extended fishing trip as soon as it was legal again. Against my better judgement (I want to help people but I understand I'm trusting a stranger... that turned out to be a horrible person), I marked it as used and figured I had helped someone in need and would get a great trip later. After years of repeated calls and multiple referrals through texts, bookings requests where I was asked for my availability and then received no response when I gave it, I didn't get a thing besides a waste of more time. They manipulated me in order to steal money from me. This is a horrible company with no morals or ethics and I would not give them another penny. Despicable and I hope no one else gets their money stolen like I did. *** To the response from the owner: It was a another platform, that's why it was marked "used". I was told I have a credit but it is less than the current trip prices so I was told I'd have to pay the difference. I have screen shots of multiple failed attempts at scheduling and being brushed off. First it was "Bret", then "Nick the manager", then "Bret" again. Neither of which actually scheduled another trip.
