Itinerary
- 30-45 minutes prior to departure: Check-in at the O'Neill Yacht Charters harbor office located at 275 Lake Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95062. All passengers must check-in prior to boarding.
- 15 minutes prior to departure: Boarding begins at L Dock.
- 5 minutes prior to departure: Boarding closes. Please do not miss boarding, otherwise the charter will have to leave without you.
- Departure Time: Catamaran departs from the Santa Cruz Harbor promptly and begins scenic tour along the Santa Cruz coastline.
- Enjoy the cruise!
- 1.5 hours After Departure: Catamaran returns to L Dock at the conclusion of the charter.
Important details
- All passengers must complete a liability waiver before sailing; a parent or guardian must complete it for minors
- Children age 12 and younger must wear a provided life jacket throughout the sail and remain supervised by an adult
- Wear flat, non-scuff shoes. High heels and hard-soled boots are not permitted
- Do not bring alcohol aboard
- Parking is not included. Visitor parking is available at $2 per hour or $20 per day
- Arrive 45 minutes before departure. Check-in begins 30 minutes before departure, and boarding closes 5 minutes before departure
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 72 hours before departure for a full refund. Cancel 24–72 hours before departure to reschedule within the same season, subject to availability. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are not refunded or rescheduled. If the operator cancels due to weather, low registration, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.

Yes. Sails operate only in safe, suitable conditions and require a minimum number of registered passengers. Your reservation is confirmed by email 24 hours before departure.
Bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages if you like. Do not bring alcohol aboard; cocktails, beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks are available to purchase during the sail. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID to purchase or consume alcohol.
Bring warm layers, sunglasses, sunscreen, and flat, non-scuff shoes. A camera and binoculars with a strap are recommended.
